DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our opening concert of 2018. We have the privilege of a second collaboration with international mandolin virtuoso Alon Sariel\, who will play concerti by Barbella and Hasse.  \nAlso included in the programme will be a mandolin arrangement of the CPE Bach Hamburger sonata\, a Barbella violin sonata played by Annien Shaw (baroque violin) and the Pergolesi G-major flute concerto played by Bridget Rennie-Salonen (traverso). \nDo join us for the first concert of a year that is jam-packed with baroque music! \n“… with his playing\, he raises the mandolin into totally new spheres…”\n– Pekka Vapaavuori\, Kuopio\, 2013  \nTickets at the door: R120\, R100 (concessions) or R60 (students). There will be a pre-concert talk by Erik Dippenaar at 7:15 pm.\n \nIf you have any enquiries\, please find the organizer’s contact detail located on this page or follow us on Facebook. \n
