DESCRIPTION:The Cape Town Baroque Orchestra presents its first live orchestral concert since March 2020 on Wednesday\, 20 October 2021 at their Cape Town home venue\, St Andrew’s\nPresbyterian Church in De Waterkant. The concert will feature instrumental repertoire by Corelli\, Handel\, Purcell and De Lalande. Soprano Hlengiwe Mkhwanazi will appear as soloist in arias by Handel\, Pergolesi and Rameau. We also welcome back Bettina von Dombois (baroque violin) as visiting concert master. \nDue to Covid-19 restrictions\, there will be two identical hour-long performances on 20 October: one at 18:00 and one at 20:00.
