Due to the fact that all tickets to the ‘Of Plants and Animals: Baroque Music inspired by nature’ concert of 30 June at the Irma Stern Museum has been sold out, CTB has decided to perform extracts from this programme in three 30-minute performances in the Groote Kerk as part of First Thursdays on 5 July.
The programme includes music by Rameau, Handel, Arne, Morley, Hotteterre and others, and will be performed by Elsabé Richter (soprano), Bridget Rennie-Salonen (baroque flute), Cheryl de Havilland (baroque cello) and Erik Dippenaar (spinet, director).
Entry to these concerts are free, so come join the hip First Thursdays crowd and enjoy the music in a more informal situation (and have a glass of wine with us, of course!)
Wine will be sold between 18.45 and 21.00
