R50 – R120Event Navigation
The Aleit Group and the Flat Mountain Project presents an evening of recomposed baroque works. A classically trained German-born British composer famous for his post-minimalist styles, Max Richter’s version of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons has preserved the original, while incorporating traces of present-day musical elements, displaying the contemporary relevance of Vivaldi’s concepts. The concert also includes the premiere of local composer Hans Roosenschoon’s reimagining of the Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 by J S Bach.
The Flat Mountain Project is a team of skilled professional musicians, based mostly in Cape Town, who come together to collaborate on exciting projects, showcasing modern and experimental classical music.
