Henry Purcell: Fairy Queen/Die Feëkoningin (2 – 5 March)

Naspers and Cape Town Opera, in collaboration with the vocal students of the Department of Music at Stellenbosch University, present Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen. This semi-opera is based on William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The orchestral accompaniment will be by Camerata Tinta Barocca, directed from the keyboard by Erik Dippenaar.

Online tickets: R100 – R300, R120 – R350 at the door. This event will be available to view from the second to the fifth of March, every day at 8:30 pm.
