Handel in the drawing room: music for an 18th-century domestic setting
Members of Camerata Tinta Barocca present an exciting programme of music by GF Handel (1685 – 1759) that was performed in an intimate 18th-century domestic setting. The compositions include arrangements of Music for the Royal Fireworks and Lascia ch’io pianga, as well as the Harmonious Blacksmith harpsichord suite. With Bridget Rennie Salonen (baroque flute), Annien Shaw (baroque violin) and Erik Dippenaar (artistic director, harpsichord).
