Sunshine Concerts
The annual series of Sunshine Concerts began 10 years ago. With this project we take live music performances to vulnerable communities who are unable to attend concerts in our regular concert venues. The pleasure of sharing music makes these concerts immensely enriching to both our audiences and our musicians.
Matzikama Music Week
From 2015 to 2018 the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra undertook an annual education tour of the West Coast. This consisted of a full week of workshops, lessons, master classes and two concerts. Each year we reached about 10 schools and around 700 learners in the Vredendal-Vanrhynsdorp area, many of which are situated in previously disadvantaged communities.
