19th Annual Recorder Symposium (2025 Cape Town Baroque Festival – EVENT 1)

Recorder masterclasses with Erik Bosgraaf, inspiring young recorder players at the beginning of their careers to bloom into professional musicians! Bosgraaf will commence the Symposium with a lecture presentation titled Adriana van den Bergh – a 17th-century recorder prodigy. Please also join us for complimentary mid-morning refreshments. The 19th annual Recorder Symposium is proudly presented in collaboration with the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra, Stellenbosch University Department of Music and the annual Cape Town Recorder Symposium administrators.
