STRING CONCERTI, PLUS A SUITE OR TWO! (Event 2 – 2025 Summer Baroque Season)

The Cape Town Baroque Orchestra is joined by visiting baroque violin specialists Julia Wedman and Cristina Prats-Costa, from Toronto, Canada. Julia is also a member of the renowned Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra:  They will lead us through a diverse variety of repertoire, including string concerti and concerti grossi by Handel, Vivaldi, Corelli, and Muffat, as well as suites by Elisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre and Purcell.
